B-17 crash-lands in Illinois

It is a real shame. It did not actually crash though. The pilot made a wheels down landing in a corn field with an engine on fire. Everyone got out but the plane burned.

Too bad. Just saw one for the first time a few months ago at the local Air Museum in Palm Springs, Ca. Really cool up close.
