If we are going to rattle sabers, why do it with a stealth aircraft that you can hardly see? The B-1 is a much more impressive sight.Send a couple of those, and watch those N. Koreans get religion.

The reason is that the B-2 (which they cannot track nor pinpoint) "pings" 8 or 10 primary targets in North Korea while in a stand-off position (yet still in close proximity, considering weapon's range; i.e. steerable bombs/cruise missiles); the pings 10 secondary targets -- which adds a considerable amount of angst to the thought process of the NKPA High Command and sends the message to them that "we own you".
NKPA simply needs to justify it's existance and first-priority call on assets (food, fuel, weapon development, etc) by
these interminable displays of faux aggression (which they have been doing for about 60 years) -- yes, they could go a
"bridge too far" one day, but it would come at a terrible price to their country and society.
