I think you could drop a nuke on some parts of NK without killing anyone or interrupting the transmission of electricity.

The only reason we used the planes is so they could detect them. My gut says we got about three special surprises from below that would ring there bell hard. Each of the three has up to 18 hollow points if you get my thinking. Thats big clip/magazine......

the news said that the B-2s were on a training mission. They left the US, dropped dummy bombs, and turned around and headed back to the US soil.
The US just wants N. Korea to know that the US is strong allie to the south.

If we are going to rattle sabers, why do it with a stealth aircraft that you can hardly see? The B-1 is a much more impressive sight.

NK has hundreds (maybe thousands) of conventional artillery pieces pointed at South Korea with a more than adequate stockpile of shells capable of levelling everything within 15 to 20 miles of the border. Kimmy has a strong military that wants a chance to exercise without getting stomped flat.
Back in the 1960s, a multi-plane flight of B-52s circled the globe to a great deal of fanfare after the fact. What isn't as well know is that about 25% of the original aircraft had to abort the mission because of mechanical / electrical problems in flight.
If you go out to beat your war drum, and suddenly you find out there was a practice bomb run with planes you could not see on radar; you may beat the drum more softly. If you rule a starving nation, being bombed back to the stone age isn't much of a threat. If you as Supreme Ruler also go up in flames, that maybe a different story.
The biggest problem is America's military will when any war. The problem since 1953 is that Washington, DC doesn't let them. Unconditional surrender is such a politically incorrect term.

KJY isn't the driving force behind this, IMHO, it's his father's cadre' of military staff that are using the new Exalted Worshipful Leader's naiveté' to further their own demented agenda.

Pretty sure the Jews (and the rest of the world) would disagree with that statement.
North Korea is like the bully that lives down the street who has a self confidence and self importance issue. They want to be recognized as a world leader. They are going about it the wrong way.
IMO the only reason the B2 is stationed in one place is their mission and immense cost. Where are most of our ICBM's located? Why do we have them on subs? To protect them.
The SR-71 was another extremely expensive aircraft. And expensive to fly. Every time it flew it cost a million dollars. It was stationed several places around the world. But it didn't have nukes on board. And even then you couldn't get close to it without proper clearance.

The SR-71 had a very different mission, strictly surveillance, no weapons. The darn thing would have to refuel shortly after takeoff simply because it would leak so much fuel until it got up to speed and the seals expanded. That explains why it would fly from different locations regularly.
I know. I worked on them. But my point was that since they didn't have nukes, they were in more than one place. But I'm just speculating here.
Now that I think of it, I remember working on BUFFS and there was always one on the alert pad locked and loaded.
I really didn't phrase that too well did I? My bad. What I meant to say is that the United States has killed more people from different countries than any other nation. We have also helped more countries than any other nation as well. We have the reputation that if you mess with us, we will respond. Up until now I think we have shown great restraint. I think that the little tyrant thinks we won't do anything. I honestly get the feeling that he believes what he is saying. I think it is going to get ugly. The problem is that by the time we respond, a lot of people are going to die. I am surprised that South Korea doesn't tell its civilians to start evacuating further south. They really don't seem too worried. I don't know but I am glad I don't live over there.

I am aware of the existence of such an agreement. It is time to null it and start over. If S.K. has anything to offer to the U.S., fine. If not, then the U.S. needs to leave. The exact same applies to every other nation in the world. If they are able to offer meaningful resources, etc. to the U.S., fine. There is reason to have trade, defense, support agreements/treaties, etc. But in this instance, SK has nothing to offer to the U.S. Why should the U.S. do a Korean War 2.0?

For NK missiles to hit the west coast
NK missiles would have to overfly Japan or Russia to get at our west coast or Alaska. I don't think their cruddy missiles have the range or the capability to carry a nuke warhead that the North Koreans can make. NK is just saber rattling as always. In return we rattle ours. If they do more than just rattle retribution will be swift. I'll bet China doesn't want to fight the world like they did in 1950 because now we are their best customers. I doubt Russia would support them as before and even if they did......?

They would have to borrow a monkey from Iran to fly it over here...and as long as we keep Dennis Rodman on American soil, they will never attack for fear of taking out their only American friend.
