Back from the Range - 1930's N Frames

Before I put them back in the safe, I thought I'd share an image of 2 of my favorites - an Outdoorsman from January,1935, and a KCPD gun - RM #5159 - from September of 1939. They both perform as designed and are a pure joy to shoot. I give them some exercise at least twice a year - just to keep them in shape.

Heck, Bill - I have enough HDs that they get their very own day at the range - alone. I don't want my other guns to get jealous.

And how did they perform? Did you make any pictures after punching the paper?

I always dream about a fool entering the gun shop and throwing an old 38 onto the top of the counter to get rid of it after he had inherited the gun. And it's me standing beside this scene and rescue an outdoorsman or HD as a bargain because even the gun shop owner as not the slightest idea what's happening.

And that explains why when my local toy store indicated on an email that they had a .38-44 available I called them and said , "IT'S MINE!!!!" and that's why it's my profile picture/avatar. What a gun!!!!
