Put 150 rounds through it (Blazer Brass)...had two or three FTF's right at the beginning. The rest of the time, the gun performed flawlessly...no issues with the slide or FTE's.

I've been reading about how a lot of people don't like the long trigger pull. I actually don't mind it, and it gave me no issues. Overall, a fun little gun to shoot. Definitely has nice kick, and my hand was feeling it at the beginning, but I quickly got used it.

Here are a couple targets at distances of between approx. 8-10 yards.

Looks good to me. I wasn't overly impressed with mine the first time I shot it, but I went to the range again and gave it another chance (2nd firing) and I think I won't mind it at all. Knowing what to expect with trigger break and all, I can get a better understanding of when to re-adjust my aim before firing. I think I'll grow to love this little thing.

Wife and I love this gun. Slide was a little tough for my wife at the beginning but after shooting a few times she has become a pro with this gun.

I think the more you shoot it the more you will like it. Good luck.

I've only had mine for about 2 months now, and yes, the first trip to the range with it proved a little challenging getting used to the DAO trigger, but by the 3rd and 4th mag, I was very pleased with it.

You get a lot of perks with the BG380 that you don't get with a LCP,Colt Mustang or a G42 and the BG is easy and comfortable to carry.I have over 1200 rounds thru mine and absolutely no issues:)S the mags are a lot le$$ money than the fore mentioned pistols.

Second time at the range today. I found out that my pistol, at least, doesn't like Federal American Eagle. Multiple FTE's and jams, which I was able to clear but frustrating as hell. I have about 10 rounds of it left, and I won't be using it.

I also brought along a box of Winchester white box, which ran flawlessly. So far, I'll be sticking with the Blazer Brass and Winchester for range ammo.

Targets are between 5-7 yards. I was able to at least put two where they count.

I have had a BG380 for a few years and have shot hundreds of rounds of all type ammo and it has been one of the most reliable guns I own. Like a lot of others I hate the long trigger pull too. Here is what I have learned: when I try to pull the trigger slowly concentrating on being smooth until break, I tend to be off target one way or the other due to the long hard trigger break. The way I have learned to shoot it is by pulling the trigger hard and quick (almost a yank) and I stay on target.

Try it if you struggle with the long pull.

1,200 rds through mine! No issues. Best little pocket gun i've ever had and it is fun to shoot (A little snappy though!) I don't mind the lon..g trigger pull. It lets me stage my shots. The iron sights work well for me. CT Laser has been removed! It is just a gimmick and distraction to me. Mine is the original Insight model and was updated by S&W CS. They sent me a new CT integral unit and it is still in the plastic bag it came in.
You can not beat the service from S&W!

I sold mine without firing it, dry firing convinced me I did not want it. I bought a Ruger Custom LCP which I like a lot and has a decent trigger pull.

How did you remove the laser? I bought the model with the laser because it was all that was available at the time. I need to get it sighted in, but don't think I'll ever use it.

my 380 bg is atS&W now,for the second time for light strikes.never have gotten a full mag through it!read some posts where people have sent theres in for the third, and fourth time.its got to be dependable, and this one isent

Hey smokyjo if it were me I'd do what ks deputy did... I have over 1200 round thru mine not one problem.

I like the long trigger pull, the way i see it i would rather have it a bit heavy since it is my EDC. I like the view of the hammer as that is my personal guage of when to breath and hold on tight.

As far as ammo goes, i have had a few failure to feeds when using Aguila ammo. I will be sticking to winchester, federal and fiocchi.

I also love knowing that i can fire a gun that "reviewers" say it is hard to shoot. I hope to visit the range soon

Mine has worked fine, it had a light strike once or twice when I first shot it, but I just pulled the trigger again and it fired. After the first time out I had a Galloway precision trigger kit installed and haven't had a single issue since. It's a good little point and shoot close range gun, I usually carry my shield 45, but if I have sweat pants on or basketball shorts, the BG is simple to keep in a pocket

Surely you at least glanced through your Owner's Manual to see
how "To Replace Batteries in the Laser"!

Remove slide assy. and there is a little Allan Head Screw you have to loosen to remove the laser unit.

Yea... I know; "And don't call me Shirley"!
