First time back at the range yesterday with my 38/44 OD's. I took my favorite shooter and my standard OD firing full power 38/44 loads. I popped about 750 round with Magna and Target stocks. Boy I was having a lot of problems at 15 yrds keeping all 50 in a 4" bullseye. My skills have gone downhill quick! Even with target stocks, I had problems with precision.
I think it was many factors but the biggest was no target time for several months. It was really embarrassing to look at the targets. The problem now is that with work schedules and family obligations, I probably won't get back for another month.
Target shooting is a skill you can't let off of.
The only good news is I have empty brass to reload when I get a chance!
