Just bought the 15-22 a few weeks ago and love this gun such a blast to shoot. Any ways I'm looking into buying some good flip up sights like Troy or another quality brand. My plan is to start buying good parts and then transfer to my AR when the time comes. So my question is are the Troy micro's a good setup for the 15-22 and what are some other brands to take a look at? I had a set of the magpul's just didn't care for the plastic.
Thanks in advance

Nothing wrong with the Magpuls...plastic looks the same as iron looking down the barrel. JMO

You might have co-witnessing problems with the micros if that's something you want.

Diamondhead sights are my favorite. The sight picture is amazing and takes all the guess work out of centering the front post in the rear aperture.

Thinking in terms of eventually transferring them to an AR - I cast my vote for the standard Troy flip-ups.

I have MBUS on my 15-22 and Troy's on my 15T. Both are adequate to the task but the Troy's are superior (also twice as much).

MBUS are polymer, Troy's are steel. I think that Troy's will handle abuse that may disable the MBUS. The Troy front is not affected by heat, something to consider if these ever find their way to the gas block on an AR15. Not a consideration on the 15-22.

With that said the MBUS on the 15-22 works great.

That link posted a few post up was pretty interesting. Surprised that the magpul's held up to two drops. I went ahead and got the Troy HK style front and I think I'm going to go with a armalite carry handle with the sight built into the rear for the back so I can mount the scope and still use it as well. Thanks for all the info guys will post some pics in the next week when everything shows up.

I put 45deg offset BUIS on the wifey rifle. Fast transition from scope to BUIS.

They make great stuff. I've got their saddle on my Remington 870 Tactical. Best one I could find. Quality stuff.

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up getting the Troy HK syle front and Knights Armament rear. Will post some pics when everything come in. Thanks again guys.
