Bad Times in Hotlanta

Yep my wife had some buying for her shop. And I had some music I wanted to see in Atlanta area .I think we will skip it this year.

I can sympathize with long-time Atlanta residents and how their city has gone. Chattanooga is headed that direction. We sold our soul to VW...

Someone please explain what this all means? I live under a rock and barely surface!

In addition to having the section of freeway closed where the bridges burned a couple of weeks back, there was a toxic waste spill Monday morning in Atlanta where two freeways run parallel closing them to traffic. Later yesterday concrete was being pumped into an abandoned pipeline and leaked out underneath a section of freeway. Pressure built up and buckled the roadway, launching a guy on a motorcycle. The motorcycle ended up 200 feet down the road and the rider is hospitalized in critical condition the last I heard. Actually it sounds like something that would happen in Houston.

Been thru Atlanta many times and rush hour is a parking lot anyways and it become worse if there's any construction or accidents on the highway
If I need to even come close to Atlanta I'll try for early morning 3am or later at nite 11pm
I'm a country boy we mite slow down to 60 mph if there's a cow in the road

Holy exploding highway Batman!

Best wishes for the bike rider!

I have driven around Atlanta a couple times in the early 90s and it was very interesting then! Today even under the best of conditions I would not want to drive it!

We used to take that cut off that starts well south of Atlanta and goes through Madison and other antebellum towns when we went to the Ga. Mountains from Florida. I'll bet that is a very popular route here lately.
