Hi Folks,
I just picked up my first revolver a 686-3 4" I've been looking for. I'm really a semi-auto guy at heart but had to have a .357. Anyway I picked up some Badger grips but they mount "With the screw though the side" but my 686 (Square butt) has hogues that have a screw in the bottom attached to what looks like a spring. Am I ok putting the badgers on or do I need a different grip?

Thanks!

Yes , just pop the the hogue screw mount over the frame pin . It will have some tension .Then screw the new the Badgers together onto your gun. I usually remove all my rubbers when I find a grip that looks good on my gun.

Thanks! it really was that simple I just needed a closer look.
