Above, a Golden Eagle. Eagles are a majestic bird. National symbols of numerous countries and cultures... and for good reason.

It isn't until you view eagles up close that you realize what exquisite creatures they are.

Three quarters of the way down, in the right column, there appears to be a chupacabra.

I don't share this picture with may folks because they don't understand the way of nature. But since Rex through it out there. Wouldn't a blue sky have been great. This was take at a wildlife refuse in South Carolina.

I disturbed it's lunch

Not very clear but this one just caught a cowbird (Cattle Egret)

If I'd known they would look that bad in JPG format I wouldn't have posted them.

I took this in my back yard in 2009. The eagle has a baby nutria in its talons and below is mama nutria.

Absolutely great photography everyone.
A friend and his wife took an Alaska cruise. Their cruise line was on an American flagged vessel. The American flag flew on the stern of the ship. The flagpole had a large brass finial; and you guessed it, an eagle landed on that flag pole and they were there to take the pictures. I wish I had it to show.
He had the best one of their photos enlarged to about 48"X48". He famed and displayed the eagle picture on the wall in his office behind his desk.

if you google "Pittsburgh Eagles" or "MN Eagles" you can see a live stream of two eagle nests, one south of Pittsburgh and one in MN. I check the one from Pitts several times per day, I have seen the parents return to the nest with rabbits and fish and birds to feed the young ones.

Bald eagles are fairly common where I live but it is still a thrill every time I see one.

Photo was taken at Ft Snelling National Cemetery, about a hundred yards from where my Dad and Mom are interred.
