Went to Barnes and Noble and preordered a SCSW 5th edition on July 5th. Got an email on August 23rd your order is processing. Got another email October 29th your order has been delayed till November 6th. Called Barnes and Noble today and was told order was cancelled by vendor. The person I talked to today could give me no further details. Ask me to call back Monday. Has anyone else had a issue getting this book?

I see Amazon says Edn5 is now being released 24 Dec. But another seller says they have 16 in stock, which given my recent experience with Amazon, I kind of sincerely doubt.

Pre-ordered mine on July 5th. It was pushed back twice, now to be shipped December 27. Still holding out hope for a late Christmas present.

I ordered mine from Amazon...It'll get here when it gets here...My credit card is never charged until it's ready to ship...That's how I know it's on the way...USPS is the cheapest way to ship printed matter so I'll track it through their Informed Delivery...No worries here......Ben

Manager at local Barnes and Noble call me and said they would not be able to source this book, “Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson 5th edition. I went into store today and got a full refund.

Got notice from Amazon this morning that they were changing the ship date yet again, but wouldn't say when.

I ordered from Amazon on April 28th and have received three notices with revised delivery dates. I got another email this morning saying the delivery date was again being revised but they would email me again when they had an expected delivery date.

Since my last actual projected delivery date was December 28, I'm guessing it will be next year before the book ships.

I hate to simplify all this seeing as how we're all having so much fun with SWAG's, but it seems like a quick email to someone who more than likely KNOWS when it'll hit the streets is a fellow goes by the name of Jim Supica -------and I can almost guarandamntee he'll know the answer---and he'll respond to your inquiry---unless your fellow men have driven him crazy asking. That's just the kind of guy he is! And besides that, I reckon he wants to sell the books even more than you want to buy them! That's pretty much the name of the game!!

Yea, not sure what's happening. I also pre-ordered through Amazon, and they just notified me that the release date for the 5th Ed. is January 7, 2025. I guess my copy will get here when it gets here.

I had preordered back in July from Amazon and have been notified my order has been delayed due to later than expected publication. As always Amazon does a good job of keeping me informed of any alterations to expectations.

Where do I go to collect on your guarandamntee? If Mr. Supica was sure it would be because the publisher has told him and since they don't seem to know, I doubt he does.

I ordered mine through Amazon on September 15th, and I just received an updated ship date of January 7th from Amazon. When it gets here, it gets here.

HEY , Wife and I always open some candy and "A" gift on Christmas eve.
Eyed this one but really wasn't sure what it was. Some time back wife asked what she could get me. I dont do Amazon, but she does . So told her to get me the new Catalogue of S/W even though it wouldn't be in till Jan.
To my surprise it was it, asked her how she got it. She said she did a search, and Midway had it in stock for Christmas. So now I have some reading to do ..
