Barrel source for N frames

I’m looking for a replacement barrel for a 25-5 in .45 colt. Are there any companies making barrels out there,or stocking used ones? Where’s a good source?

I'm not aware of any sources and doubt the current parts dealers will either. They are where you find them. Someone may be along with a lead but you might try listing in the WTB section along with pertinent info, ie; length, finish, etc. If a current or newer model in stainless is acceptable, you might try the factory??? Good luck.

I have found most every S&W part I've ever needed on ebay. Sometimes you have to be patient but sooner or later......

I find barrels on Ebay regularly. Prices vary a lot. I have used S&W 45 ACP barrels. Most are marked just 45 CAL. You do need to trim the barrel extension about 0.10 and re cut the forcing cone.

Keep an eye on Numrich Gun Parts Corp. They usually have barrels for sale (nothing for the 25-5 now) but their stock changes every so often. I've got a couple of Model 29 barrels from them over the years and have been very happy with them. You can search by manufacturer and specific model number. E-bay is always a good source too, as is Gunbroker.
