Any recommendations for straightening a barrel on a 629 (I.e. remove barrel cant)? I had some POCs pre COVID, but post COVID is another animal. thanks
What about in the case of a barrel that is now canted from shooting ? In other words the barrel was loose and shooting it has caused the barrel to tighten itself now off center ? Is that a do it yourself home project using a padded vice and piece of 2x2 ?
Gonna try it. . Thanks PD.If it's that loose, you can unscrew it, put blue Loctite on the threads, and screw it back on to where you want it. Leave it undisturbed overnight, and you're done.
We here at Bubba's Skool of Kitchun Table Gunsmithin do recommend tha use of a bench vice and a pipe wrench for fixin a barrel that sits to one side or tha other.I recommend a bench vice and 12” pipe wrench.
