A look back in history. This video is an accurate reenactment of a contemporary event representing the importance and reason for Amendment II of the Constitution of the United States of America.

This event took place in Athens, McMinn County TN in 1946. This armed revolt by WWII veterans was against the established government. It illustrates the true meaning of the Second Amendment.

Well I never learned that in history class. Besides Congress this should be required viewing by every student every year of school.

This has been posted several times. Apparently the honest citizens tried for 6 years to get the Justice department to oversee the elections to no effect. Still after this happened one newspaper ignored reality and called it an armed insurrection.

I think it was actually dynamite that turned the trick.
