There needs to be a playoff in college football. The suggestion that seems to have the most merit is an 8 team playoff, but even that might be too exclusive. Perhaps a 16 team format instead.
 
college football is big business. having a playoff system would be the most American and "Free Market" way to solve the problem. Let the best keep winning until only one is left.

of course, the last team left out will cry foul, whether it is a 16 or 65 team playoff. My St. Mary's Gaels were left out of the NCAA Basketball tournament this year, so should the field be expanded. No way.
 
I think it's great. Congressmen are like toddlers. You have to keep them distracted or they get themselves in trouble.
