Bead blast question

Wondering what happens to the laser etching on stainless when bead blasted? Such as the Caution refer to instruction manual on the slide of a 1006? Thanks

The more laser etching is blasted, the lighter it will get.

Laser etching can be washed off pretty easily by blasting media. Use very fine grit, turn down the air pressure, go easy.

Yessir thanks for the replies. I was kinda wondering if some of the used 1006s that you find for sale without the etched caution statement could of been BB completely off? I'm quite sure some did come factory new without it though.
