Yea Blue Moon is about how often Beaver moon comes aroundBlue Moon has meaning.
Don't forget the Blue Moon....
Once in a blue moon I see a blue moon and it has never looked the slightest bit blue to me. Makes me wonder why.....

IT SEEMS THERE'S A DISCREPANCY.
One news station called it the hunters moon, which I hear every fall. Another station called it the "full beaver Moon". The "waxing/waning beaver moon" must have been taken. It don't roll off the tongue as well, I guess. While duck hunting the S platte river, sitting on the bank, wadered feet dangling in the river one morning pre dark a beaver pops up between my knees, scared the heck oughta me. I don't recall the state of the moon.

Hunting moon I have heard of, hunting beaver moon? Don't think that is in season, only trapping in some states I think.
