Beaver moon, super moon, purple moon, not sure why all these pointless names.
Only one that made sense was blood moon. THAT was impressive. Unlike any of the others, it actually looked like its namesake.

One news station called it the hunters moon, which I hear every fall. Another station called it the "full beaver Moon". The "waxing/waning beaver moon" must have been taken. It don't roll off the tongue as well, I guess. While duck hunting the S platte river, sitting on the bank, wadered feet dangling in the river one morning pre dark a beaver pops up between my knees, scared the heck oughta me. I don't recall the state of the moon.
