Just been laying low, have been doing that at most the best?
Finished with the radiation treatments for now, but between them and the steroids they’ve had me on they are beating me up.
Went to see my chemo doc and he wanted to start chemo, but right now I’ve got to get over the radiation?
Well anyway I’m on a two week rest between the two.
Just kicking back and relaxing as I can for now,,,,but surviving ;)
Been spending some money on guns though,,,,I’m happy,,,wife’s not!

Thank you all ,,,I greatly appreciate it.
Still laying low and contemplating my possible next handgun purchase,,,I got the ache. Don’t feel well so I guess this should help me feel better?
Went to to my current Internal doctor today for a follow up, ask how do you feel?
My answer was, not as well the last time I’ve seen you and about 2 weeks of hospital stay isn’t working,,,,so I guess I feel pretty lousy!
But I’m managing and laying low,,,,,now what’s next on my gun list?;)

Too all of you I want to say this before I can’t.
When I first found this place it was about 6 years ago and my first bout of cancer. Going through all my treatments this is where I would go to to read about my favorite handguns,,,The Smith!
One thing I learned quite rapidly was this place was one of the best with some of the finest people I’ve ever met on the internet,,,you guys are the greatest and being part here really means a lot.
I know that we’ve never met face to face, as much as I would like and there are quite a few I would love just to do that before my time expires.
Rusty you are one of them for sure,,,Vonn sometimes I think I have a long lost brother. Now of course there are quite a few others out there as well that I don’t forget either!
But you guys one and all, mods included have kept me going and when I say I appreciate that I truely mean it.
You alI here are some of the greatest I’ve ever met !
Don’t know how long my cancer is going to play me but one thing I know I’ll be back here with you guys until it’s over and say I was glad to be here! ;)

Prayers from Tennessee
I agree, I suffer from some medical issues myself and sometimes the best medicine is gun browsing and buying.
I'm curious what gun are you in the mood for? Anything in particular?
Rest up

Jason

Nothing in particular as long as I get that smile effect afterwards
Maybe something in a 45,,,Glock maybe?
Beretta 92 compact?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, such a beautiful, heartfelt message. This forum really is a special place, filled with so many wonderful humans and kindness. It’s refreshing in today’s divisive and angry environment, and I appreciate the mods, and members for keeping it this way.

In one form or another, we all are tasked with carrying life’s burdens, and it’s very comforting to be in the company of quality people. Yours is a heavy burden right now. I sincerely pray for your health, strength and comfort.

Praying for you, friend. I may not say much these days, but I lurk to try and stay in the loop. A .45 sounds like fine therapy.

Just pretend this is witty.

May God be with you all the way through this ride, and stay Pennsylvania Strong.
Yes, that Glock .45 sounds good! That's the first pistol I ever shot. I think it was a model 21 my buddy had. He did two tours in Nam and could fix just about any gun and I think he owned just about any gun! (Sorry; that .45 Glock just made me reminisce about Joe!)
We're all here; that's what makes this place great.
