Belated intro from SW Missouri

Hello all. I've been a forum member since Sept. (and a lurker sometime before that) but never thought to introduce myself so here I go.

I'm from SW Missouri and have lived here all my life except for my time in the service. I have been a gun nut since I can remember. My Dad was something of a gun crank and we always had American Rifleman magazines around the house and all types of firearms. My main interest is in collecting and shooting military rifles (mostly U.S.) but I am also a big S&W fan and own a few. My first was a model 28 purchased the day I turned 21 and I still have it.

I have really enjoyed this forum and appreciate the welcoming attitude and great information on all things Smith and Wesson. I think I'm going to like it here!
