Welcome! I have a son lining North of Seattle, and I hear all about the degradation of Washington. As I get older, and I sell off my guns, I want to give him and my Grandson a couple, and now I hear about some mandatory training before they could buy or acquire a firearm. And, it has a healthy fee attached to it. Basically with his hours working he has little chance to go to any training, and he already has a Certification of Sheriff's Training in IL and qualified to carry a gun as a security guard or deputy sheriff in IL. While in school in CO, he worked as a security guard and patrolled a large Outlet Store village, carrying the Mod 19 I gave him before he left IL. But now in WA I can't send him one.
I do agree, it is a beautiful state, just getting more difficult to live there.
