I'm pretty sure I know the answer but just to be safe I thought I'd ask.

If I buy a 92FS with 10 round mags, online. The Republic of California and whatever else compliant gun. And then purchase 15 round mags elsewhere. The gun will accept the 15 round mags, correct?

It should

As far as I know, the gun itself is the same. Just a pinned magazine to restrict capacity. I see no reason why a STANDARD capacity magazine wouldn't work.

Thanks fellas

I was pretty sure there wasn't any difference in the gun itself. But I had that sliver of a shadow of doubt?

Similar to 1994 Clinton regime ban. Manufacturers didn't alter the firearm just used magazine block to restrict capacity. By the way...these blocks were easily removed if so inclined? More stupid government moves to do what...curtail crime. Sold glock hicaps for $100, mini 14 20rds for $110 & so on. Not illegal to own just couldn't be made. Folks made lotta $$$ from those not prepared & likely didn't need. Tell Americans they can't have something & see what happens. Prohibition comes to mind. Got way off track but government stupidity ticks me off. Guess i'll see blacked out surburbans pulling in driveway later maybe? i speak the truth as i know it to be...and so it goes.
