I enjoy my S&W 3rd Gens, but Beretta takes top prize

I got into firearms after I left the Army in 1976 and compared to back then I find it amazing how many quality firearms there are to choose from these days. All the firearms mentioned in this post are of good quality, it’s just a matter of personal preference.

Lately, I’ve been thinking that I need a .40 S&W handgun. I had a 4040Aitlite PD. Regret getting rid of it.
