Yes, the 9mm M882 round (124 grain FMJ bullet) is in the +P category. The M882's MV from an M9 is in the high 1100s - I have chronographed it. I have seen numerous M9 pistols with well north of 100,000 rounds fired through them (used as USAF training guns) which were still in good condition. Back in the early days there was a barrel problem but that was due to a design problem and was resolved. I once magnafluxed a group of high-mileage M9 barrels, no issues. The M9 is very rugged, but on the other hand it is fairly heavy to carry around. I've never seen an M9 having a problem which couldn't be easily fixed.
