This post in this Forum has several members discussing issues with these little Berettas:
So I want to post a specific problem that I have and ask for comments. I carried my 950 BS .25 ACP mouse gun for decades. At the range I discovered that by the third round the little pistol had just enough recoil to knock the safety into my thumb, which pushed it straight back to safe, and I wasn't getting another round off until I dropped the safety. I was so aware of this that I taught myself to prop my thumb on top of the safety to keep it down.
Just curious if I'm the only one with this problem. The gun is around 40 years old now and only goes out with me when I'm wearing a tuxedo, so you can imagine how little time it spends with me these days.
I forgot - everyone loves pictures:

You'll recognize the Beretta on top. The Baby Browning replica is long gone and the 1944 CZ Duo I keep as a memento. Long story....
Since all the corporate owned grocery stores in Cheyenne have "No Firearms" policies, though this isn't posted at their entrances, I carry this 22lr Beretta 21A Bobcat when I go grocery shopping.
Easy to carry in a pocket with a spare mag in another pocket and while 22lr isn't my first choice for defense 7 rounds of 40gr high velocity will work for what I figure I'll need it for, up close and personal.
