if you had to choose what is the best ammo. I use a lot of blazer and it seems to work pretty good.

Lots of good factory ammo out there and the M&P shoots most ammo real good. For practice I usually shoot Federal American Eagle or Speer Lawman. Bill

I use the 115gr Monarch FMJ that Academy Sports sells for targets. It is a little cheaper than the Winchester rounds, but only by a couple of bucks. The best answer is, try different rounds and then use what you like and works the best in your pistol.

I like Federal Champions, the cheapest stuff here in town.

I mostly use PMC 115gr. FMJ at the range. $10.99/box of 50 locally.

Mine has eaten a steady diet of CCI Blazer Brass ball ammo. I think it's consumed at least 40 boxes now. It has never malfunctioned once.

So let's see, about six different brands of ammunition have been mentioned in this thread, all with positive reviews. I think the moral of the story is, just about any decent factory ammo will shoot well in your gun. ;) The choice comes down to availability and price, which may be more of an issue for you due to your locale.

ya no kidding lol only certain stuff is available in canada. lol. thanks everyone :)

Out of curiosity, how much is a 50 count box of 9mm, and what is the process for purchasing it? Can you just walk into a store and buy ammunition?

I've had good luck with Winchester whitebox (300 rds) and Sellot & Bellot (150 rds). No issues whatsover on my M&P9c.

They aren't he best obviously, but are among the best bang for the buck.

The cheapest I can get is $10-$11 per box of 50. My carry ammo is quite a bit more. Here in NY, yes - you can just walk into a store and buy it.

You've got almost 1500 posts here, but have never gone to a store to buy ammo? How do you get yours?

Yes, seriously. This was your question:

As you addressed the question to no individual, and as this is an active thread in which many people have contributed content, it is reasonable to assume that your question was general. I certainly read it that way, and was quite incredulous. Why would you assume we'd know the antecedent of "you", which can be singular or plural? We can't hear what's in your head; we can only read what you write.

Note that the OP responded to something I wrote in the previous reply, and my question came immediately following. Please read the entire thread and note the order of posts before replying to one.
