Best .44 Special config.

I'm not sure if the op reloads or buys factory ammo.I find 45 long Colt more available around these parts then the 44 special. You might consider a S&W 25-5 in 45 lc.I had one years ago in a 4 inch barrel. It was a tack driver.

As usual, I'm late to the party..........

Over the last few decades I've been turnin out a few 44s with some custom features on my S&W 44 Special revolvers.

Here's a couple that get sport'd around a right smart.

I also do the recessed cartridge head thing too!

I have a 624 which is an accurate and enjoyable gun to shoot. BUT, there is something "extra special" about this old guy, my 2nd model Hand Ejector from 19 and 23.... He just turned 90, one year older than my Dad and I am lucky that I still get to enjoy them both!

I do treat Grandpa, both the pistol and my Dad with care.... My (3) daughters spoil my Dad rotten and I only shoot "mousefart" hand loads out of my old Smith.
