I'm going to be contrary and vote for a nice holster worn Registered Magnum. 4", please.

You can carry it, you can shoot elk with it, and if it turns out you were wrong, you can trade it for a bunch of other guns.

A model 19 would be the sentimental favorite, but if you only had one handgun to do every thing I would choose a model 65 4"
