I generally like to go on Mondays and Fridays so I can start my week and weekends on a good note, but the other day a friend had told me their weekly routine involves a trip to the range on Wednesday. He had told me it was the best in the middle of the week because it makes a work week seem less ****tier lol.

So am I just curious what day of the week is everyone's range day?

The gun club here is closed on Mondays so I tend to go on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Most times there aren't even a dozen people shooting and there are 7 different ranges. Weekends it is packed.

I shoot in the desert around here for free and of course there are no pesky range officers or waiting for people to change targets etc. etc. but the areas often have more than a few shooters at the same time and some are extremely unsafe and even hostile, so I try and keep my distance and never go on a weekend. I prefer relatively early on a weekday such as Wednesday or Thursday in the middle of the week.

At the range I've been using this winter, i tend to go on Thursdays (when i take a couple days off to use up vaca time) as they are not that busy esp in am's.

When i used the Gander range before they closed, and assuming it opens with the new store this spring; i usually went first thing on Sundays. I prefer to be one of few (if not the only one) using the range. Feels more relaxed.

I don't really have a time/day at the indoor range we go to. My daily schedule is VERY flexible, so I just go when I figure it won't be crowded, which is generally weekdays before 3pm. Wife likes to shoot when they open on Sundays, so that's one we hit pretty often.

I avoid rainy days. They get a lot more traffic when it's raining.

I go usually Tuesday's and Fridays - but sometimes go on Saturday's also. If the weather is great and one of my Range Bud's is available I am not partial to any day!

I only go during the week and I usually get there when it opens. I won't even bother to go on the weekends. Way to many Rambo's there on the weekends.

Our range closed on Tues. & Wed., I go Mon. & Fri. Now that I have retired may start to to go on Thur. Weekend are crazy with all the Rambos & the like.

I'm a member of two local ranges here (one public and one private). I teach history so I have my summers off which is nice and I try and get to the range lots in the summers during the week...esp when they open (9 and 10) as there are generally few other shooters there.

The RSO at my outdoor range told me the best days and time for shooting without a crowd would be mid-day Wednesdays or Thursdays. Then, I factor in the forecasted weather before downloading some targets and prepping my range bag.

I've shot on Tuesdays and Fridays because the weather was best on those days for that week, but I avoid the crowded weekend days.

I go during the week at the club I belong to, usually by myself, northwest of San Antonio. Occasionally I go to another with friends on Sunday. That one is on the other side of "town". Twice the distance and twice the time. Otherwise I don't go on weekends.

I have a range set up in my back yard and shoot every day that weather permits and I get home from work early enough, but Sunday afternoon is my "planned" shooting day

After all that cold weather, it's climbing into the mid fifties today.
Having a slow day at work I announced: "think I'll take the afternoon off and go shoot a round of golf." "Are you crazy, it's too cold and damp...the course will be saturated?" "Uh Huh, I'll see y'all tomorrow!" 😜

Tuesdays and Fridays are ladies days at my range, my wife sometimes goes with me so we usually go then. If she doesn't go I still like to go those days.

LOL. I usually go Tues/Thur/Fri. No separate Ladies Day at our range. But, more often than not, I run into two gals who shoot together on a regular basis. We often spend as much time chatting as shooting. All in good fun though.
