While I guess it was not much of a commercial success, his "All is Lost," from a coupla years ago, is an excellent film.

It is about a solo sailor on the Indian Ocean and the adversity he faces trying to survive.

And I liked his role in the Captain America movie.

I don't watch any movies of Hollywood anti-gun people like Robert Redford. Especially a a guy who glorified the Weather Underground in "The Company You Keep" and believes communists are the "true patriots".

My dad, 2 brothers and I still quote Jeremiah Johnson to each other.

#1 in our opinions by a long shot. However, I'm sure the movie would have been just as memorable and enjoyable with a different actor. The story and scenery made the movie great.
