What's your "best guess" on the current, "actual" value of a like-new, circa 1995-ish 4586 with fewer than 100 rounds through it -- and no magazine disconnector -- from the factory?

Book value on this pistol would seem largely irrelevant -- because it is so rare, if not unique.

Four to six magazines could come with it.

No mag disconnect is not a rare thing. PD's requested them. Is the slide factory marked as having no mag disconnect?

Yes

It came from the factory that way.

In my experience, it IS rare to have that stated this way -- and straight from the factory -- and made available to the public.

A department armorer didn't remove the disconnector.

I've been watching for decades -- and never seen one before.

I have seen some with no hole in the slide for it. Most just have a void where it would normally go. Kentucky State Police 4566 pistols that I saw (and bought one of) had no disconnect and were marked "caution: will fire with magazine removed" or some nonsense.
Personally I hate the things, because I like to dry-fire practice and do not allow magazines present for it.
There was at least one run of Melonite 4566 without the disconnect present.
