Best gun Oil, Grease & Cleaner brands?

You'll get a thousand different answers, but here is mine.

I've been using Mobil1 10w30 for a few years on all firearms for lube except down the barrel. I just run a patch w/rem oil, could probably use the Mobil1.

Cleaners I like Birchwood Casey 2-in-1 bore scrubber or Hoppes #9. Brake cleaner on AR's.

Cleaning kit I've got a Winchester deluxe pistol kit from Walmart & added a couple of Gunslick rifle rods, & nylon brushes. Also have a few boresnakes for quick cleaning.

Whatever you happen to have on hand at the time.
Ed's Red for cleaning, and Red Oil for lube. The cleaning kit that you assemble for your particular needs.

I would go with the Mobile 1, my cars use 5W20 so that is what I use. It is especially good for new semi autos.

Have used Ballistol for a long time for many things, and recently started using the foaming Breakfree on my revolver actions.

I agree that there is no right answer to the question.

I use Hoppes solvent and oil. My cleaning kit is from Pro Shot, as are my patches.

I also have some cleaning brushes, but I use a toothbrush most of the time.

I had a police officer tell me slic2000 (available on the internet).

I have never used it. At $14 for 4 oz I will probably stick with Rem Oil from Walmart.

I think the important thing is keep your gun lubed.

I pocket conceal so the lube is not noticeable after a few days so before I hit the range I spray a touch of Rem Oil in the chamber.

I'm not sure it matters what oil on most guns. Most do the job. I've been using standard 10w30 for years with good results. I did just buy a bottle of Mobile 1 5w20 after hearing so many good things about it.

TWB25 - Best grease for all my semi-autos(except 1911's)

? - Teflon oil, I still do not know.

Brownells - Best cleaning kit

If you pocket conceal wipe down leave overnight and wipe again underside. (Oil will gravitate to underside of weapon.)

I tried Frog lube, but wasn't completely happy with it (having to warm the metal).
Tried some Gunzilla and was impressed with its lubrication and its ability to remove carbon and being non-ionic, it doesn't collect dust like most other lubes.

Froglube is great and would be my recommendation. Pro's are that its green but works as good or better than most toxic products, you done use much, and after you initially treat/season the gun its much easier to clean going forward....often you just need wipe it down as dirt will not stick to the metal. Also smells good so you can do it in your house.

Cons are its a bit pricey, requires an initial seasoning/heated application.

You can warm metal real fast with a hair dryer.

Does any big chain retailer or gun shop sells frog lube or is it ONLY order thru online?

Other than the frog lube do you guys use any other solvent, wax or grease in any other part of your guns or just frog lube is the only product on your table when cleaning your guns? ( other than towels, brush, hairdryer, etc.)

Cleaning

I used Frog Lube for the first time last Saturday and took the 9C out to the range on Sunday. It was much easier to clean and I like the fact I don't have to wear laytex gloves. Heating the pistol up with a hair dryer was no big deal.
