Best in-pocket for snubbie

Or you can use this "pocket stabilizer" from Garritys Gunleather.
Great for coat pocket carry.

I would not trust that, I wouldn't feel comfortable without something covering the trigger on the sides, in the rare occurance something caught the trigger through your pants on the way by or something that could be catistrophic.

That 342 on the other hand is a beauty, I have the exact same model.

My vote goes to the Mika holster, it just plain works.

Tuff Pocket Roo

I had an RKBA for my 340SC, but moved it to the holster box when I found the TUFF Pocket Roo. Good material, but the biggest reason I like it is that it also holds a 5 round speed strip. It gives you a place for extra ammo and breaks up the profile. Also the extra part of the holster with the speed strip helps hold the holster in your pocket when drawing. I can't draw the holster out with the gun if I try. At $25, I think it's a bargain.

Most of my pocket carry time has been with a Mika. Once you get them "broken in" and shaped to the gun, they are excellent.

I've also been trying the Uncle Mike's #3 lately. It works ok but loses its shape quickly. It does provide for a full grip on the gun and I like that.

If its a J-frame use an Uncle Mikes/Blackhawk size 4. It slides in and out MUCH easier, so not to have the risk of it sticking to the gun when you draw. :)

I just ordered a Mika pocket holster tonight, a round-bottom for my 49 Bodyguard.

I can't wait, as the holster and my TN CCW permit should be getting here at around the same time.

The Uncle Mike's #3 I got with my gun is already shaped for a right-handed person, and the lower edge wants to fold the wrong direction in my pocket...
