Best J frame pocket holster

All of the leather pocket holsters I've tried have been too tight. From what I read, lot's of people like the Galco.
With the gun in the holster, and holding the holster with your off hand, twist the gun sideways, gently. Do this a couple of times, checking the fit. This approach worked very well for a Kramer I use with a 640-1. It used to come out of the pocket with the gun. Now it does not.

Got it in today. Earlier than the expected 8 weeks. Very nice.

I'm digging that gun leather. May have to order one of those pretty soon. How long did it take to get yours?

Best? I have been through more than my share, and I believe I have found the best "for me".
Matt Del Fatti's PH3. They drop in your pocket so easy and you have to work to get them out. You have to wiggle them back and forth the "hooks" really work. Very well thought out design, and thin. The J Frame one is horse and the Seecamp is shark. I lucked into the J Frame one by checking Matt's in stock page, NO WAIT!

That is an awesome-looking pocket holster, Sod. Maybe I'll get lucky some day.

I've tried several different holsters, but my 642 now rides in a Mika, and it's by far the best I've used.

I have a Mika and a Krammer. I like both and both work well. But I think the Mika is more comfortable, and you could buy several Mika's for the price of a Krammer.

not sure what I'm using, but it was some cheap suede thing they had at the gun shop. cost about $15. so far, it's worked better than expected and no one has noticed i'm carrying my 637 in my front pocket. even people who know I carry don't notice.

i've been thinking about the mika, but I want something pretty thin.

I have two Kramer pocket holsters... I carry my Airweight Bodyguard in the right one and my Chief Special in my left pocket... Later, Dave

I have a few different ones, including Uncle Mikes, Desantis Nemesis, and rough out leather from Wild Bills Concealment.

I mostly use the Desantis Nemesis (guite a lot actually during hot weather when I am not carrying my 1911 as often) for carrying my Colt Agent with factory hammer shroud. One of my favorite carry packages due to the light weight and moisture resistance, but no pocket holsters work for me when wearing jeans.

When carrying one of my S&W J-Frames, my latest favorite is the "Roo" made by Tuff Products, which has a very handy pouch on the hook wing which holds one of their proprietary 5-shot speed strips for a reload. It is about the same bulk as a Nemesis and works well in pants pockets like khakis or shorts.

Just wanted to mention the Roo in case someone had not seen it yet as another option since it is fairly new and no one had mentioned it. Got mine from Midway.

J frame pocket holster

The best pocket holster I have found is made by Aholster. It is made of Kydex and is super thin and light...it is the only one of three or four that I have that doesn't drive me crazy. I would recommend it to anyone!

Before I joined-up here, I always bought the cheap fabric style holsters. Now that I'm fairly well crippled up, I've been putting in
some serious thought on different carry methods.
Every body that's serious about this issue, has found Their best method. I've gotten holsters from Lefty and Lobo, Don Hume and
Mika. The one thing that impressed me, other than the high skill
level that goes into the holsters, seems to me to be making them fit the
firearm. Except for the Mika Pocket holster. That one works perfect, for me, for the I-frame and J-frame snubs
As always, the opinions voiced here are coming from people who've
done the research, and know what they're talking about. Thanks, TACC1.
