For a measely $10 a set of JP springs will do as much or more than a GM can do for anywhere near that price.
If the stock triggers, even the RRA 2-stage of the PC model, were fine we would not be changing them for competition purposes.
If I was just using the gun for practice and a few club matches I would have left the RRA w/JP springs in the gun. I can beat everyone in my club in Carbine Open class who shoots our Speed Steel monthly match. I can't do it with that setup when I go to a higher level of competition and have to shoot against well known national shooters. The triggers that come on the AR15-22 will not reset fast enough or don't have a short enough reset distance to be able to hammer steel as quickly as needed for things like Tier 2 Steel Challenge or Ruger Rimfire major events.
When you get to the point where your gun won't reset the trigger as fast as you can acquire a target and pull the trigger, you know you are at the stage where you need to explore other trigger options.
Short of that any trigger will generally do.
