Best TV shows of all time.

The contents of my Top 10 list vary with the seasons and the years, but somehow The Wire and Breaking Bad are always there. I guess that means they are my personal favorites. And of course there are dozens of shows that I have watched and appreciated without ever feeling there was anything of lasting importance playing out in front of my eyes.

Based on comments here I am going to launch into Better Call Saul, which I have avoided until now because I was afraid it was going to be a pale rip on Breaking Bad. I'm glad to hear that many think it is as good as or even better than its predecessor.

The Phil Silvers Show

The Dina Shore Chevy Show

Ozzie and Harriet

The Lone Ranger and his faithful companion Tonto

Carol Reed 'The Weather Girl'

Anyone remember "What in the World'? They'd have a group of archeologists, and hand them an artifact. They were supposed to date it and assign it to a culture. Talk about watching how great minds worked!!!

I also liked;
Sherlock Holme wih Jeremy Brett.
The Red Green Show.
Top Gear.
Jay Leno's Garage.

So many of the shows I enjoyed over the years have been mentioned.
Gunsmoke
Bonanza
Barney Miller
Gilligans Island
I Love Lucy
Currently Blue Bloods is pretty good, of course I like most anything with Tom Selleck in it.

Well it was quite a while ago,(late 40- early 50s) but as a young kid I enjoyed the Howdy Doody show. Black and white was all that was available!:D[/QUOTE]

On a 6 or 7" rounded screen. Only one in the neighborhood.

I remember 1954, BritBike. One kid down the street had a TV. When they let us in to watch, there'd be a crowd of kids all on the floor watching.

Anyone else like, "Stalker", with Maggie Q?

I thought it was a great show, but I guess it scared some viewers.

I like, "River Monsters" on Animal Planet, too. Most shows I like disappear, though.
