What kind of grouping can an average shooter expect at 15yds with a BG 380?

Well, your question is interesting because it's hard to say what an "average" shooter is plus a .380 is not a first or even second choice to reach out and touch something at 15 yds.

That said, my SWAG would be that most anyone who has practiced the basics (good grip, focus on front sight and smooth trigger press keeping the rest of the hands steady) should be able to consistently hit a sheet of copy paper or better at 15 yds. A "better than average" shooter would do better.

Bravo if you can keep a 12" diameter with a 2.75" barrel and 90 grain 380. Expect more along the lines of 16-24" at 15 yards. A feather trigger and barrel with a more refined rifling would help, and just because this gun wasn't meant for high accuracy target shooting doesn't mean someone won't make it happen just to do what others say can't be done. Realistically for me, this is used as a backup or primary when I can't reasonably carry my M&P40c. The BG is meant for short range (less than 5 yards) and is quite accurate once you get used to the trigger.

I shot this target at 25 yards with a Beretta 21a .25.....about as good as can be expected from a gun with almost no real sights shooting a micro mouse fart round :) these would all have been torso hits on a human target, I was shooting at a 25% reduced target.

I have shot similiar targets with my LCP. You won't be shooting cloverleafs with the mouse guns at longer range but more like "clusters" or patterns.

Micro autos can shoot just as well as large guns, it's just very hard to squeeze the accuracy out of them and only very skilled shooters can do it. People have fired pocket autos from ransom rests and got very tight groups. When the human hand and eye are involved things get different.
