Big bore LW snubby ever made?

I have a 296. I prefer the Centennial style for most carry because of the snag resistance. I dislike the Bodyguard as single action in most of these style guns is not valuable enough to overcome the problems that can result from the slightly open frame. I have considered a 242, but for now I don't think it offers me enough to get one.

With the 200 grain gold dots (heaviest recommended; I use the load in Blazer since I am not going to reload cases and it saves me a ton), I find it far less obnoxious to shoot than most high performance .38 loads in a J frame size (I have a 442 and a Ruger LCR, both of which are basically tertiary guns to be used in a contact mode). While I would love to have a similar revolver in 45ACP, using moon clips, the overwhelming answer from people who know more than I do (an easy standard) is that it is not feasible on the L frame.
