big foot hunting on the travel chanel

As I've said here before. What if they bury their scat? Avoid humans? Bury their dead? And are smart. When you see one you will know. Remember, they live in the boonies, we don't.

I like the way you think.

I'm pretty sure they bury their dead. As for burying their scat, they probably do in most cases.
When you're in the woods, you're in their back yard. Most of us stick out like sore thumbs when we're out there, and we make enough noise usually, to alert anything within a minimum 2 mile radius that we're there.
I know when we're out there, we're leaving all sorts of mechanical smells, motor oil, gasoline, rubber, camp fire, cooking, you name it.
They are an inquisitive creature, and will come around at night time, and observe.
They leave tee pee wood structures out there too, along with broken trees, to let other Squatch know it's their territory.
The next time any of you are out there, and you feel like you're being watched, you probably are.
Oh yeah, their vocalisations can be anywhere from obscure, to downright obvious, depending on their moods.
Also, be aware of the wood knocks, if possible.

I had an experience 7? yrs ago that made me go hmmm. 6-7 miles back in a wilderness area at 11,000' just at timberline in August when I was followed for a mile or so.At the time I attributed it to a bear as I'd seen fresh scat on my way in.It followed along,I caught a stinky odor a few times when the wind shifted, never got a glimpse of it,but what got me was that it didn't really make an effort to walk quietly. It stayed just below and behind me in fairly heavy timber crunching away as it walked. I have no idea what that was,but I found the B-17 wreck I was looking for.

I'm pretty sure you know that black bears don't follow people for an extended period of time, right?
Even grizz will only track a short amount of time before bugging off.
Bigfoot will make themselves known, because you're in their territory.

How many people claim to have seen something, how long these claims
have been around or how widespread geographically they are, does Not
prove anything. Maybe proves a percentage of the population will believe
anything.
After all, how many people have seen Elvis alive and well since 1977?

If Bigfoot was a thing, a soccer mom woulda hit one with a minivan years ago . . .

Bigfoot, the Jersey Devil, Elvis sightings, the 100mpg carburator...all for those with too much time on their hands IMHO.

The interweb just magnifies and accelerates it.

Aliens and UFO's don't exist either. The Air Force investigated UFO's for many years before closing Project Blue Book. Given the technology back then it was easier to explain sightings. Project Blue Book was really oriented towards investigating aircraft and technology the Kommies had than contact of the 3rd kind.

Now the military is reopening investigations into UFO's due to contacts being caught by our fighters that can not be easily explained. Despite how much better technology we have today U.F.O.'s continue outperform our best fighter aircraft.

As with U.F.O.'s there are a lot of animals and creatures in the wild we don't know about. Kansas Fish and Game refused to admit mountain lions were in the State until there were too many trail cameras pictures that showed otherwise.

I had bigfoot in my den two weeks ago..........

No only did he have big feet, (looked like a whole cow hide for his shoes), but he said that when he was measured for his HS graduation ring, they had to use a special set of measuring devices to determine that he wore a size 15 1/2.

Not only that, but he was playing a nice Martin guitar.

But....... I didn't get a picture, so you will have to take my word for it. :-)

Have a blessed day,

Leon

Game cameras recently caught a family of wolverines in Mt Rainier National Park in Washington. Haven't been seen there in over a century.

During Christmas a mountain lion was killed on the northeast outskirts of Dallas. Nobody knew they were anywhere around.
But if there are actually Bigfoots I believe they are only in the most remote places in North America where people and trail cameras almost never venture.

Bigfoot, UFOs, ghosts and such are they real? I ain't got a clue. But I like to think its possible. ;)

About 20 or so years ago I was on a camping trip. Kicked back in a comfortable camp chair and just lazily watching the night sky. I saw what I assumed was a satellite passing over when it suddenly made a 90 degree turn and disappeared at a high rate of speed. No aircraft I know of could make a turn like that or is that fast. UFO? Beats me? But its stuck with me all these years because I can't explain what I saw.

I do know one thing. No TV host with a camera crew roaming around in the woods or some old house is ever going to prove anything other than how gullible people are. ;)

I believe I have seen them carry shotguns.

We like "The Alaska Triangle" show.... great info I really never considered much.

I briefly dated a lady a few years ago that absolutely believed in ghosts, the supernatural and such. Her TV just stayed on the Travel Channel where they show all of these ghost, Bigfoot and UFO shows. We didn't work out.
Which brings the question: why is all this stuff on the Travel Channel in the first place? They never show anything about traveling.
