I am also. These were descibed as no bark and I took a gamble on them.

I was pleasantly surprised that they were indeed very smooth! The dark streaks are mineral deposits left over from removing the bark. Quite striking, but I did not like them on the Model 22-4. I intend to try them on a 625 to see if they appeal to me on stainless.

Anyone that's posted to this thread have a spare stag grips of Bigmtnman's they would entertain re-homing? Thnx..

I was lucky to score a set for my 2.5" birth year Python, which is my 3rd set of Ken's grips. I'd really like a set of his moose handles with the creamy, purple coloring.

You guys are a bunch of ENABLERS! :D

I have a number of N frames that could use a bit of class. The factory stocks are nice enough, but fail miserably in comparison to the stocks displayed here. That's the thing about this forum. I keep finding things I didn't know I needed!
