Bill O'Reilly is a doofus

Haven't watched Blo'Reilly in years. As I recall tho' he was famous for using verifiable facts out of context to make his points. And, as noted above, if one disagreed with him he'd just shout.
His attitude came to the point of "I said it. It must be true."

O'Reilly’s over-inflated ego makes him come off looking like a cartoon character. I think his show should be aired on Saturday mornings, right before Spongebob.
Yeah, but he's too vicious and cruel to be seen by kids. I think O Reilly actually plays a caricature of himself as his life for the money. I remember watching him before on "Current Affair" and he was a semi competent reporter who could do a story without completely hosing it. I think O reilly is more amazed than anybody on earth that people take his shtick seriously.

............... Yahoo's front page has, and I counted, 12 to 14 antigun articles each day since that AR15 up and killed all those people all by itself.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed this too. Yahoo has really been pushing all the antigun crud they can the last several days! I also unloaded on them yesterday about all the anti-Trump articles too, even though I am not a Trump (or Hillary) supporter. I can't stand biased reporting and slanted news, which is why I very seldom look at any of the news channels. Yahoo are all so full of it you can smell them 1,000 miles away!

I watch Fox mainly when Megyn Kelly is on. Hannity and O'Reilly are no longer "fair and balanced"...

I used to hate her years ago thinking she was ignorant and ill informed...then I gave her a second chance a few months back and she sort of won my wife and I over...then, recently, she started being quite rude (again) to her guests, especially Kasich imho, and it turned me off.

She's on double secret probation at the moment so we'll have to see how it goes.

Does anyone enjoy the 5? It's hard to know what they are talking about
because they all talk at the same time. So I just watch Kimberly.

I watch it fairly regularly with the missus but they piss me off so often I usually start channel surfing. I think Dana Perino is the most level headed for the most part (which is funny because when she was a D.C. insider and talking head I couldn't stand her).

KG is a bit of an airhead, Gutfeld is not as funny as he thinks he is and Eric is going off the rails at times. I like Juan as a person. :p

I liked Kelly a lot til she started messing with Trump. I.e., she took a personal position and lost her objectivity.

Lately, it's all about Kelly, and I'm not interested.

It's easier to take O'Reilly when you realize he's not a conservative like he portrays himself. He's actually barely right of moderate . . . just barely.

Portrays himself? Never heard him claim to be conservative. I have heard others erroneously claim he is.

With his fascist tendencies (see above), I see him left of moderate. He wants big, strong government.

O'Really's claim to fame is that he allowed conservatives to talk on TV. He legitimately saw the bias in TV. He did something about it. End good Bill.

Allowing conservatives to speak does not make him conservative, though the Libs think so. That's how strong the biases are.

Never have spent time watching him I recently checked out a cd of Killing Lincoln from the library. His voice was difficult to understand with an annoying habit of descending at the close of sentences making it difficult to hear words clearly. Way to gravelly and annoying for much of the time. With his constant confusion of how to pronounce Cavalry usually spoke "Calvary" it was evident he was not a church goer or perhaps christian. From other readings on the subject the factual similarities were that Booth shot Lincoln, and a war was ending at the same time. Other than that it was a carp shoot as far as facts go.

Doesn't seem very sporting...

We're not all douche canoes. :p

Unfortunately, there are far too many NY'ers that are way too loud & give that very impression...

The gun toting, freedom loving conservative colonists from NY are all here in Arizona! :D.

Well, we'll just have to agree to disagree on that. There's plenty of red blooded, freedom loving Americans in the great state of NY and not a few of us in every other state of the nation, including my adopted home state of N.C.

I grew up with them. I worked alongside them. I chased down bad guys with them. There's folks we can find objectionable in every state. I personally try not to paint with so broad a brush.

But, I will allow that I think Mr. O is a pinhead and not a patriot.

I no longer watch that show for several reasons...

First, Fox dumped Bob Beckel from the show. (He's now on CNN.) I rarely agreed with Beckel on issues, but he was feisty, outspoken, honest, and honorable. The Five hasn't been the same without him.

Secondly, several of the panelists use the show to promote a cause I can't agree with. It's really nauseating watching them bend over backwards to propagandize...

On the plus side...

Greg Gutfeldt has proven to be a pleasant surprise. I used to think he was just an idiot, but his sense of humor is great, and he can think on his feet.

Dana Perino is terrific! Very smart and savvy, very knowledgeable about the inner workings of Washington...
