I started playing shuffleboard on the hardwood table kind down at the firehouse!Still get the ache to do it when I find one!
And we either played for beer or an ice tea!
Now Bingo is another story,,, back in the day we ran those games to raise money for the hose house and a lot of different aged people played... We weren't old farts back then!
Old Firefighters never die, they just end up helping to run Firefighter Museums!

The last time I played BINGO, Ike was starting his second term, and the Beatles were still 5 years in the future.
I was invited to a BINGO nite by a friend whose mother was a regular. I didn't know about all of the variations of the game, just the basic five in a row. After what seemed to be a long time for a BINGO game to last, I had my five in a line, and shouted the magic words; BINGO! Other players groaned and dumped their beans. It was discovered that I was in error, and the game continued. Without the players who had acted in hast. I wasn't a very popular 12 year old!

Perhaps this group might like the idea of BINGO, if it were presented differently. Maybe instead of marking numbers on your card, you shoot them.
We ain't really certain about that statement. To make that determination you have to post a nekkid pitcher. Then we can make our own minds up...well the ladies on the board can... decide if'n you don't look good nekkid that is...I might just have to pass!!

I used to call BINGO years ago when I was in Kiwanis. I learned the hard way do NOT joke around as the players take it very seriously. You can't call too fast and you can't call too slow. Oh and do NOT ever call out B17 or N 48
