Today is my dear departed wife's birthday. She passed away
February 11, 2020. I took some flowers and a card over to her
grave this morning. And of course, did some reminiscing.

There are many fond memories of our sixty years together.
One that kinda rang a bell this morning, was long, long ago.
It was her birthday. I don't remember if it was Las Vegas,
Reno, or Tahoe, nor do I remember the club.

A friend had told me that if I gave the head usher a picture of
President Grant, we would probably get a good seat. I had a
$50, so I gave it a try. We were seated in the front row, center
stage.

I do remember the star of the show was John Davidson, who
some of you may remember. He made a fool out of me, which
is easy to do. He had me sing "You are my Sunshine" to my
wife.

This was just one fond memory, but after sixty years together
there are many more.

By the way, my worst birthday was February 11, 2020.

Sad to hear the loss last year, but the plus is 60 years sounds like a hell of a great run and a happy life together... I wish that all with that one for them could have a grand a time like that at their life and love.

Phil, I'm sorry for your loss. 60 years together is longer than many people even have on this earth. If my wife moves from this life first( which I doubt) I hope I'll have the strength to carry on and not just crumble and we've just started our 3rd decade together.
I know she still lives on in your heart.
