Just picked up one I have been looking for, for a REAL long time. I was looking at Gunbroker a few weeks back and there it was with a great BIN I couldn't turn down.

What's great is this one is truly NIB. FACTORY TEST FIRED ONLY Slight burn ring on every other cylinder. All the paperwork and the PC case still hasn't been set.

I know it's not the 627 Bloodwork, but same gun chambered in 41 Magnum.

These are quite scarce as there were only 151 Shipped thru Lew Horton (See Letter) Where the 627 had about 550 give or take thru there multiple runs.

Here are the Pics

Nice piece. Have been looking for a PreLock in 357 Mag or 41 for a long while. Settled on a PreLock 629 V comp, but still looking. Nice complete set you have!

Very nice find. I love my 627PC lock and all :) They are excellent shooters as well and the balance is perfect!

Nice grab Jim. One has been on my list for a while also. Don't let it sit unfired very long. Bill's?

I have NEVER seen a 627/629/657 PDR/UDR that was manufactured with a multi piece barrel.

Can you post the picture of yours for us?

Thanks! I don't have one yet, but the 627 Pc I just fondled had the 2 piece barrel...I believe. I could be wrong, there's a first for everything. :-) I am fascinated with this model and will be on the hunt for one at this weekend's big reno show. Would obviously prefer an earlier pre-lock version, but could possibly aquiesse for an IL version.

Nice find...I have one of the standard 3" 657s and have often thought of selling it and trying to find one of these...

Congratulation....Bob

ps...if you don't reload try come of the C.O.P. ammo...it is not very expensive and about 1100 fps..very low recoil and is what I have been carrying in a 357NG...
