This happened in southern CA, I am not going to post a
direct link and have no details, I believe the man is ok,I
did read also these were handloads. Caution is the word,
really makes you think twice about who is shooting next to you when you are at public
range! Pete

A little JB weld and I can fix that!

Must be an optical "delusion" but it looks like it has 3 barrels:confused:

Don't let any Glock lovers see that!

talk about an "OOPs" at the loading bench. i hope no one was hurt.

Looks like it's been instantly converted to the Merwin & Hulbert system.
Must have been some mega loads through that one.

A co-worker some years ago (early 80's) used to shoot stupidity handloads through his M29 on purpose. The more kick & flames the better.
He managed to strip the bbl right out of the frame finally along with a bulged cylinder, ect.
He sent it back to S&W and they actually replaced the revolver w/o an arguement.
Probably just cheaper than court & lawyers.

Elmer Keith would have the answer for him.

Meantime, if he has Instructor Credentials, he now has

an Excellent Classroom Exibit.
