Bluing Freckling

I just purchased a used revolver that had minimal freckling on the bluing. Very small blemishes on the finish that looked like surface rust. I took some fritz with a soft rag and very lightly removed most of the freckling. It had the solid blue look to it now. This can be done to bring a dull blue back to a luster looking blue again too.

To refinish the stainless guns i been using the simi-chrome polish. The stainless looks like brand new again.
