My first ever revolver that requires moon clips. Right off the bat the gun shop tells me about Rimz moon clips. Made of some type of polymer. Load and unload by hand, head spaces great, never had any type of malfunction with them. You can shake the moon clip and it firmly holds the rounds. Oh yes the gun is a 325PD

I too have one of the high dollar loaders, but I never use it or metal clips.

IMHO Rimz polymer clips are the only way to go; quick, easy, cheap and you don't need to drag another piece of equipment with you to the range.

Any comments about the clips from Revolver Supply ?

I like their full moon clips. They're very consistent in dimensions and load and unload quite well. Good quality product

I have a BMT, it is absolutely wonderful. Easiest, fastest way to moon and de-moon if you use full moon clips. No help at all with half-moon clips.

Bought the BMT Mooner for 6 shot .45acp.

The $90 plus $10 shipping was hard to swallow but I bit the bullet and got the BMT to load moon clips for a Pre 25 1955,25-2 and 1988 625-2.

It's a pleasure to use for loading and unloading the ton of Ranch moon clips I have.

Another fan of the BMT. I use it with my 986 and TK Custom stainless steel clips.

It's only money.
