Bobbed hammer J frame questions?

I'm not a lover of bobbed hammers. I never had a problem with a pocket draw or ankle draw. I really like the option for a SA shot.

I agonized between buying a S&W 637, with standard hammer, and an ugly S&W 638 shrouded hammer. The 638 has become my favorite snub nose. I can easily cock and uncock the hammer - but I'm careful where I do so. It is surprisingly accurate in single action mode. Much more than my Taurus 605.

That said, I think bobbed hammers are way cool.

I picked up an extra hammer to bob on one of my J's. I removed the hammer first, then used a dremel to cut off the spur, then a file to smooth things up to a nice even finish.

OK, last 2 questions...

Where does one get the red ramp front sight assembly that comes on the 340PD model if I wanted to put one of those on my 360?

And finally, Midway has Titanium cylinders for sale that would fit these guns. Is this an easy just drop in with no problem swap or would there be an issue doing this? Thanks for the help..

Also, I want the 360J as I like the shrouded barrel look opposed to the 638 model. That is why I have asked about the bobbing work.. Also, anyone know where I can get a red front ramp for the 360J?

Anyone have a red ramp that they took off of their PD models they want to sell so I can try it on my 360J? Thanks..

I realize I am resurrecting an old thread.
I purchased a 337PD and would like to bob the hammer. Looking at photos of replacement hammers and it seem the internal hammers from 640 are the same without the spur? Will an internal hammer fit?
