Having a spare K target hammer and some time, I further defiled my 3” 66-4. I was pleasantly surprised that my Galco shoulder holster still holds it securely.

A shame you smoked a target hammer, with all the service hammers floating around. But hey, your gun, do with as you please

lol
I thought target hammers are the least desirable of hammers, that’s why it was sacrificed. I would have felt bad bobbing a service hammer. Just need it to cock the hammer, not paddle a canoe.

Looks like the ultimate conceal carry package to me. Well Done ! But I’d prefer a 4 o’clock OWB carry.

Nice job, I feel the same about target hammers.

The range guys at my department bobbed the hammer on my Colt Cobra that was carried in an undercover role for a few months. They did an excellent job but I’ve regretted changing the profile of that classic ever since.

Just a guess, but looks like the "back blast" you get when the frame is drilled and tapped (as the recent revolvers have been for years now) and the revolver is fired.

Exactly :D

Interestingly, there’s no hint of flame cutting. Seems the previous owner never shot magnums.
