I scored this gun today. It was at my LGS for a great price and in good shape. I have more K-frames than I can shoot, but this one is unique in my collection. It's my only 3" and only one with the other unusual features.

The hammer, although bobbed, still retains the notch in the hammer that allows it to be cocked for SA.

I took it to the range and it performed perfectly. Nice and light and pointed very naturally. It bucks a bit harder than my 4" M64, but it's still pleasant to shoot.

Aside from the obvious features, do you guys see any other noteworthy features?

I would have jumped on that. Even though I have promised myself to never buy a revolver without it's factory grips AND full hammer. I have purchased a few revolvers and replaced the wood grips, and reinstalled the correct hammer.

I did almost pick up a 2" 64 last Saturday. Had everyting I wanted but seller wanted me to trade a 2 1/2 inch 66-4 for it. I declined.
