I put a couple hundred rounds through my 10 round mag with no problems, other than hard to load. Now that 10 round mag is not holding the slide back after the last round is fired. I examined it next to the 12 round mag which I have no problems with and I am befuddled what's the issue. Any thoughts?

Mine does the same I'm sure it's a follower issue they need to straighten out. I just get xtra practice with malfunction drills which doesn't really bother me it has never failed to fire with approx. 600 rounds. If when they eventually say there's a fix I'll call and ask for replacements. I look at it as the purpose is CCW personal protection the pistol runs fine just doesn't lock back every time.

Honest Outlaw did a review on a 2.0 and he found that being right handed, he would hit the slide release with his thumb and the slide would not lock back. Not sure if the longer 12 round mag positions your hands in a different alignment or not.

Just a thought.

I did disassemble and clean the mag. I will watch my grip on the slide release and let S&W know of my problem. Thanks for all your help.
